What we do

Musikana Dzidza (Girl Learn) organization has been operating since 2018 to advance child rights, child development and welfare.

We registered in 2018 and have been operating in 4 urban areas Rugare, Kambuzuma Epworth, Chitungwiza & 2 rural areas Chivhu and Seke. We have coordinators in each area that oversee the welfare of the children and young people.

Our organization is self-funded. We have no international donors and have been carrying out all our work from our own incomes and periodic donations from local well-wishers.

We are purely driven by compassion to improve the mental, social and economic well-being of children, adolescents and young people from vulnerable communities.

In 2023 we began a Sound Mind program in Kambuzuma area in response to the high levels of drug abuse amongst our adolescents and young people especially in urban areas. Urban vulnerability amongst adolescents and youth is currently very high.

We aim to help through rehabilitation, life skills and entrepreneurship training.

Poverty is the main cause for the detriment of economic and social growth of children and young people in vulnerable societies.

We are driven by a passion to restore hope which is strongly needed in societies that have faced extreme difficulties due to poverty and economic degradation.
